So, your relationship did not work out and now you have to start over. You might need to find a new place to live, come up with a new source of income, discover new (or rediscover old) passions in life, and eventually, find a new partner.
In order to move on and find happiness, you must forgive your ex-partner (even if that seems hard)! I suggest writing an “anger letter,” spelling out every reason you feel angry and hurt. Don’t focus on placing blame; just focus on simple sentences like: “I feel angry that you did or did not do ______,” or “It hurt me when you _________.” Do this until you feel at peace and free.
Then, spend time loving and appreciating yourself. Practice what I call “self celebration!” Affirm, “I deserve an abundant and happy life” over and over.
Finally, list all of the things you’d like to achieve in life, how you’d like to help others, and the things you are grateful for every day. Also, make a list of the qualities you’d like in your ideal, “dream partner.” By writing all of these down, it sends a clear message to the Universe!
